You are bidding on a 1973 VW TYPE 2 Camper Bus - A Great Year for Camping :) No rust, straight, and ready for the road and adventures Partially restored. The bus still needs a headliner and speakings installed. CD player with usb is there and working but the old speakers were shot. New in the speakers come with the bus. New bamboo hardwood cabinets, New hardwood floors, New vinyl door panels from Jbugs.com The new upholstery and 3 inch memory foam cushions installed by a local furniture maker in Portland, OR (I have and will include the roll of green vinyl if you wish to replace the front seats to match. Paint is new inside and out but not full paint job - bus was not dismantled for paint so you will see the previous paint job in the wells, in engine compartment, and other not visible places There are New CV Joints, A New fuel line, New brakebooster and hoses, Transmission serviced and solenoids adjusted - shifting great and riding smooth (tiny reverse clunk) - Engine serviced, oil changed - I drive this bus everyday and last summer went from Portland, OR to San Fran to Quincy, CA back to San Fran to Portland, OR, to Coeur d' alene, ID to Seattle to Portland, OR - trekked about 2000 mile without problems. The riviera Pop top is in fantastic shape - a couple tears in the screen mesh but the canvas is clean and solid and the metal hinges are in great working order The interior is almost there but will need a new auxiliary battery for interior electrical setup if desired, no sink faucet, no water tank, sink needs install, This bus was planned to be my life long dream but was jointly purchased and things happens - after lots of love and time and energy and money - Please be good to her Serious bidders only please.
