Description

What I have here is a 68 bug in good condition, Could use some TLC here and there. It has a Rebuilt motor updated interior and stereo system stop driving and was saving for my son. But he has decided to get something a little newer and with airbags LOL. Would also trade for a MK3 and/or MK4 Volkswagen GLI. Thanks

REVISED:

Car is on non-op, before I put it on non-op fees were paid up in full. The car is in great shape but not running. Due to the previous owner letting it sit for over two years. I bought this car because my son said he wanted it for his first car. But has now changed his mind and we got him a GLI (plus his grandparents and mom wanted him to have something with airbags). So the car is sitting at my mechanics waiting to be repaired. My mechanic says a good rebuild on the carbs, a flush of old gas and a new battery and it should be running flawlessly (after some fine-tuning). The car motor has been rebuilt 2 over 1800(less then 5000 miles per last owner). And far as what my mechanic says, has a good amount of money (motor, inside and out) invested in it. But come check it out and be the judge for yourself. I am more of a air-cooled guy so this is a bit out of my wheelhouse. I'm not in a huge rush to sell the ca, because if it does not sell I will just keep it and fix it for myself later on down the line. But I told the wife I would at least try. I would not realistically be able to get to it for at least another year or 2. And I would just hate to see that when It could go to a new home. We are selling for the price that we paid for it. If you would like my mechanic to fix it so it's running (of course the price will go up a bit). We can work something out. We are in the Sacramento area.
