VW EMPI Sportster.Fun, rare car, gets lots of attention! Been to many Java and Jalopies meets, Pacific Grove Little Car Show and Concours d'Lemons (didn't win, it's not a lemon).New since 2014:

• All brake hoses- 2015
• Oil Change- 2015
• Fuel filter- 2015
• Valves adjusted- 2015
• Rebuilt speedometer- 2015
• Clutch and throttle cables- 2015
• KYB rear gas shocks- 2016
• Clutch disc and throwout bearing- 2016

Lights and turn signals work good, 6 volt. Wipers and horn not connected.Tires in good condition 30x9.50R15s on 6 inch rims in rear and 165R15s on stock rims in front.Type 3 pancake engine. Bus transaxle with reduction gears.Engine runs about 3500 rpms at 55 mph to 60 mph.Runs great. Mileage is not original.Registered in California through June 2017.Will include old magazines and owner's manual.For sale locally too, reserve right to end auction early.Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping and all shipping costs.
