69 Westfalia Camper Van Bus VW

1969 VW Westfalia. I got this bus for myself to re-live some glory days but plans quickly changed gear so now it has to go. Check out Link for 140 PICS !!! Original owners manual and even window sticker! Apparently the previous owner had some security issues. The engine lid was bolted shut even though the latch worked. Double padlocks on the gas lid. I ran out of gas and had to get the bolt cutters, haha. Rear/back hatch door can only be opened from inside even though the key lock works, also has slide bolts on the inside. Passenger door can only be opened from inside. Slider exterior handle was removed and latch disabled. Almost got it open. Let the new owner figure that out. Under the red carpet is the original floor. Passenger side exterior I think they were trying to learn how to paint? There is a little bit of bondo on the drivers rear corner and around the tail light/engine lid passenger side. Thats all. Nice nose other than the little stars painted on to cover paint chips.1500 motor rebuilt a year ago all stock complete with alternator. Trans looks like it may have also been redone by all the newer looking nuts and bolts. Calif bus. Leaking wheel cyl. But brakes barely work. Good E brake! No canvas on the top. I did not open it up.
