Description

1987 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Weekender Wolfsburg Edition 2.1L

2WD - “prerunner” look

177,950 miles.

Good Condition – well maintained – many upgrades.

$15,500.00 – OBO.

I am the 3rd owner of this fine Vanagon Weekender Wolfsburg Edition.

I purchased the van in 2007. I used the van regularly in the spring - summer – fall months for camping and road trips. It was used very sparingly in the winter months. This Vanagon was never a “daily driver”. The van was always parked off street and covered when not in use. Nonsmoking, non-pet, non-kid van.

It is well maintained. I have been upgrading several parts and “systems” over my ownership.

Overall, the van runs great. I do multiple several hundred mile trips per year. On the interstate, secondary and dirt roads the van drives strong and handles well.

All camping curtains are present with rear door bug screen as well.

I am selling due to recently purchasing a home. Renovating the home is taking most of my time and funds. I no longer have time to properly care for and enjoy this van. I refuse to use this classic Vanagon for Home Depot runs and commuting in Queens, NY.
