- new front beam is narrowed (2.5 inches?) with adjusters in it to lower the car (narrowed beam brings thetire back underneath the crown of the fender to eliminate the tire rubbing on the fender edge when dropped)
- front cross drilled disc breaks
- line locks installed on front breaks (solenoid installed in the front break system to lock the pressure for burnouts)
- caster shims in the front end (corrects caster of front end when it is lowered)

Transmission:
- full rebuild with 0 miles on it by Arizona Transaxle
- new syncros and shifting forks
- heavy duty super-beetle differential side cover (the super-beetle diff cover has extra webbing to eliminate flexing under high load, an OEM part for better fit vs some aftermarket stuff)
- supper differential (4 spider gears)
- stock 1st through 4th gear ratios with a 3.88 ring and pinion (freeway flier setup. the stock R&P is 4.12. a 3.88 would drop RPM in 4th by about 500 RPM)
Body:
- 69' body modified with 66' and earlier hood and front apron with earlier front bumper brackets welded in
-66' and earlier OEM rear apron
- 66' and earlier front OEM fenders straightened by a body shop
- pop-out rear side windows
