1992 Volvo 240 Sedan
Description
Selling our 240 that weve had for the last 9 years. Its been garaged and babied as a third car for my wife but I just bought her a new Vespa 300 to ride with me on my BMW. Both new bikes are keeping her Acura out of the garage so the Volvo needs to go. Weve put about 40k miles on the car, with new starter, new tires, new brakes, and a battery in the last two years or about 2k miles ago. In the last four or five years it doesnt get used very much and just sits in the garage.
It is a beautiful little car, totally reliable but it isnt flawless. The AC isnt charged, the sun roof is manual and only opens about 1/3 of the way. It has a rust spot on the right rear door frame. The service light comes on for the first 5 minutes, needs reset. There is a slow slow leak in the brake reservoir. Also one little crack in the dash panel. The chrome trim strip on the running board on the drivers side needs to be replaced, its coming off and the rear bumper cover trim rubber to the body needs to be replaced.
The interior is in great shape, the rest of the body is in great shape, the engine runs very well, the transmission shifts cleanly, its a very presentable reliable car.
Need the garage space
One accident in 2015, light damage on front left fender and door, front fender and door panel replaced with new from Europe and professionally installed and painted. We also had the hood repainted because it was in the shop anyway
