1990 Volvo 240DL Wagon

I bought this car 2 months ago for my son to have at college. Turns out he does not need it.The car is straight, never hit. Paint is very good. There are a couple of small dents and some rust, please look at the photos, I have tried to show everything about the car. The alloy rims are very nice, not dented or bent. As can be seen in the photos, all the door fits, hood fits and lift gate fits are straight and even. The bumpers are dead straight and the rubber is pretty good for a car of this age. The tires have a lot of tread, but are old and showing some drying and cracking. Tread wear is very even, showing good alignment. The car drives very tight, there is zero looseness in the steering wheel, the wheel is dead centered when driving straight ahead, there are no rattles or squeaks. The paperwork I have shows new control arm and steering linkage bushings recently.If I were keeping this car, I would put shocks and struts in it, but it drives fine as is.The engine is strong, starts and runs fine, the transmission shifts normally and does not makes any strange noises. The interior is very clean. The driver carpet is worn, but usable. The other carpets are in very clean condition, very little wear. The upholstery throughout is unusually nice, no rips or stains. In the photos it can be seen that even the entry side of the driver's seat cushion, an area that usually shows wear, is near perfect. All door panels are very clean, no rips, stains, or damage. There are 3 small cracks on the dash, please see the photo. Headliner is excellent, as is the cargo area, where the carpet is very clean and not worn.Everything works, with the exception of the 2 rear speakers. The sound system is all original Volvo. AC, heat, wipers and washer, all lights, power windows, the original radio/cassette player, even the original analog clock in the dash, it all works. The rear seat headrests are missing. All the original locks match, with 2 original keys. All the original owner's manuals are included. The car recently passed inspection.
This is a no reserve auction, the car will sell this week. I am also listing it locally on Craigslist, so it is possible the the car will sell before the auction period ends.
