1981 Volvo 242,/240 Coupe, 242 Two Door--Good Condition,

Rust free California car purchased in Canoga Park at Jim Bess Volvo in 1981. We are the second owners since about 1994 I have the original window sticker as well as other papers from the first owner.including driver manual and cover. The mileage is correct and can be proven with state of Utah documents Car has not been driven much in the last 14 years since we need and drive a four door because of family. I believe most everything works as it should including the lights under the hood and in the trunk As for parts that have been replaced renewed or updated. new In tank pump / strainer and hose, new rebuilt starter,new clutch and cable brake pads replaced valve cover gasket and intake manifold gaskets, main fuel filter,. Dist ca, rotor, plugs and plug wires and spark module. New Main fuel pump and one way valve new injectors. updated ignition control module plus all under the hood harnesse, Rebuilt fuel distributor and control pressure { warm up] regulator,thermal time switch New fuel pump relay. New timing bel, Vacuum hoses updated ..light bulb sockets cleaned and bulbs updated. Newer outside door window rubber squiggies . Car has a Pioneer DCH 150 MP WMA MP3 CD player although the photo is when a cassette paler was installed. Large Volvo plastic floor mats all 4. and more parts I cant think of now There are two small dents in body one below window on passenger side door its about a inch long and about 1/16" deep.The other is just below the rear license plate about 1/2 long and 1/16 " deep.the paint has some scratches and tiny imperfections and the windows have some scratches,Tiny ding level with right door lock on rear quarter panel about 4 " away The passenger side windshield has slight wiper marks The Rim could use a wire brushing to make them shine a bit more.Presently.there are 3 Michelins and one Continental on the driver rear. One Michelin on a sport rim in the trunk thats a total of 5 sport rims I am including 1 or 2 other Volvo steel rims with one Michelin and one Bridgestone . Car paint is driver quality. As For the interior it is quite good. Two tone Black And Tan, The leather seats look very good The passenger side is super nice The drivers front has two small repairs the first is patch at the back cushion.at the upper side area just below the head rest, The other is to the bottom cushion front. drivers on top between the buttons at the center area was a short split in the leather which has been stopped with a special resin. The rear seat bottom has one repair middle front. area has a about 1" in diameter patch The top of dash has many cracks and splits ect just leave the dash mat in place and Fagetaboudit. There is a large Tachometer but it seems to measure RPM low . Very good Volvo for a very fair price. SOLD AS IS - no warranty -
