1979 VOLVO BERTONE

I'm selling my Bertone that I searched for quite a while for. I bought this because it is rare and different. I wanted to put an LS chevyengine in it and have some fun. However, my brother gave me his 1955 Chevrolet NAPCO 4X4 pickup. I was a chevy fan long before I became a volvofan so, the Bertone got pushed to the side. The truck is not finished and I can't let the Bertone sit around any longer. The car runs and drives, the engine needs valve cover gaskets and a cam seal. (I feel for buyers whospent tons of money on a Delorean with the POS, PRV engine.The front seats need done, the rear seat is good. The dash has cracks, and the heater blower does not blow (common problem). It needs a turn signal?highbeam switch. One c-pillar crown is missing and a c-pillar moulding is also gone. The driver's door handle just stopped working from the outside. Go figure. There is some rust through on the driver's lower quarter. The trunk is nice and solid. I wanted a Bertone that did not have a factory vinyl top, which makes for less problems and costs. The body is nice and straight though,which is why I bought the car I have a low reserve on the car and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I tried to list the pros and cons of this car. You won't find a cheaper Bertone in this condition. And, you could have it ready for the "LS Fest" next summer. Sold as is where is. I can deliver it up to 500 miles from York, PA, for a fee.
