VIDEO DRIVING TOUR youtube...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RbobMCMEN0&feature=youtu.be
Starts, runs, shifts, drives, Excellent.Hwy speeds are no problem. Fresh paint (see below). From the information I was given when we purchased it 4 years ago, this car had quite an extensive restoration about 19 years back. Many NOS parts were sourced and installed. Interior is super nice. No dings or cracks in glass. Great carpet. New VOLVO floor mats. Doors, trunk, and hood open and close tight and straight. All windows work. All gauges and electrical components work fine.Have vintage and newer repair manuals along with a few extra parts such as VOLVO valve cover, windshield gasket, rear seat belts, rear reflector housings, extra grill set (nice), etc.
REASON FOR SELLING...We purchased this 4 years ago as my son's first car however he wants a "Tuner" so this needs to go.
UPGRADES...B20 Volvo Engine out of a 142 -Electric Overdrive (5-Spd) -Weber Progressive Carb & Intake -Full 4-to-1 Wrapped Exhaust Header -Mild Street Cam -GM Alternator & Elec. Ignition -Electric Cooling Fan -New(er) H2O Pump -New(er) Clutch Master Cylinder - Anti Swaybar Kit Both Front & Rear -Wiper Motor Rebuilt & Installed (have minor wiring question) -Quality Moon Roof (no leaks) -MB Quart Speakers with NEW Kenwood Bluetooth amp. -NEW tires - Excellent VOLVO front seats-Just had entire body rust-neutralized, sealed, primed, painted, and clear coated. Many new repair panels were installed such as wheel arches, rocker, etc.
DISCLOSURES (see photos)...Uncertain of mileage. Glass is very nice but has some scratches that can be seen in certain light. Have never noticed them while driving however. Very small leak where fuel pump joins block. Needs new gasket during next oil change. Rear windows could use exterior rubber seals. Steering wheel horn does not work but instead a button was installed. Wheels are painted black however it appears proper wheel paint was used so it adhered well. The firewall is nice and solid but some rust on both sides (mostly driver's) of the engine bay.At some point a stereo was installed so a portion of the dash was cut away to accommodate. The dash section has since been riveted back in and original radio installed but uncertain if it works. We ran out of $ during the recent body & paint work so the rockers were a bit rushed along with the inside of the drivers door. From a few steps back they look just fine but if you happen to be super fussy, they would benefit from being sanded out, having the seams cleaned up, and re-painted or rock-guarded. A couple portions of the floor were repaired at some point.
