Here is an excellent example of a totally restored, 1964 Volvo PV544 Sport, B-18. The car is excellent throughout. It is an older (over five years), restoration, that is holding up very well after completing a little over 3,700 miles.
This car was last sold on October 11, 2014, by the Vicari Auction Company, Harvey, Louisiana. In the glove compartment was the original Vicari auction receipt, marked paid in full, in the amount of$19,710.00
The car is in remarkable, excellent condition, inside and out, cosmetically, as well as mechanically, and continues to be an appreciating classic.
It would take very little, (Windshield trim?) if any work, to make this PV544, a Black Book, CPI, Cars of Particular Interest, Value Guide, condition #2 (Excellent) vehicle. The #2 Condition value, in the May-June 2019 CPI, is $26,925.00. A #1 Condition car would be a trailered, rarely driven, Concourse winner, and would be valued far above the #2 Excellent condition car.
