Description
You are bidding on a 1973 Volvo one of the most sought after auction vehicles today . A 1800 es just sold at a Bonhams auction for $ 93,000. Restored cars sell regularly at over $25,000. I have owned this car since 1998 and belive I am the third owner . The car had apx 31,000 miles when I bought it and was driven on weekends untill clutch went about 9 years ago . I put the car in indoor storage with the intention of repairing but family and job never afforded me the tim, it is time she had some attention . The body shows the classic signs of rust that 1800 are know for . Light to medium on rocker panels and wheel well, light around headlights, light around rear window seal, and medium to heavy on floor pans and cross members. All of the chrome trim is intact and in good shape with the exception of missing nose badge. There is one small dent in rear . The Interior is all intact with original guages and switches including factory air .Door panels and headliner good. Carpet, cracked dash board and front leather seats need to be replaced . With the exception of the clutch the vehicle ran perfectly on day it was put in storage . It currently cranks freely but no effort has been given to actualy start it . Sitting fuel will need to be cleaned out .
