Description

Nice 1972 Volvo 1800ES daily driver. I recently purchased out of southern Ohio. Before that car was in Tennessee. Motor runs strong with good compression. Transmission shifts into all gears with working overdrive. Brakes work well. Braided steel brake lines front & back. Comes with Bilstein shocks & John Parker performance springs. Previous owner claimed the motor was rebuilt but there is no paperwork to back up that claim.

Car is color code Light Blue Metallic (111-2) with black interior (448-821).

Older repaint with lots of “patina”. To be a really nice daily driver it needs paint & body repairs to drivers side rocker, behind rear drivers tire, passengers side jack frame crossmember, and drivers side front to back frame rail. All repairs pieces are readily available. Passengers side door has long dent/push in.

All interior and carpet is original to the car and overall still good. Headliner is good with no rips. Upper and lower dash pads are cracked. Front seats need recovered. Drivers side door card is damaged near map pocket. Good original carpet. Rear seat back & bottom cushions are very good. Trunk items such as spare tire, tools w/ tool bag, scissor jack, and jack crank rod are all included with car (not pictured).

Chrome bumpers and grille surround are in good driver quality condition with no dents or rust. Stainless trim on fenders and doors overall good with minor dings. Glass is all very good except front windshield which has clouding at the edges.

This is a really good car to enjoy as is or a great base for a full restoration.
