1992 Volvo 240 Wagon
Description
Very sad to have to say goodbye to my baby. Simply can't afford to keep her anymore..So here is what you should know about this 1992 Volvo 240 wagon-First, Volvo stopped making the 240 in 1993 so this is a relatively "new" one.
1) At 285,000 miles, it drives...but it needs work.2) The interior is iffy...perhaps more than iffy...driver seat is ripped. Much of the plastic interior -- plastic cup holders, plastic handles, the plastic gear shift housing ...is broken. Glove compartment closing mechanism not working.3) Recently, it started stalling during huge rain storms. ....I am sure there is an explanation but I don't have time to figure it out or get it fixed. I also had to disconnect the fuse for the radio because the radio stayed on and drained the battery when the car was off.
I've put a lot of money into her for the last 22 years...I've got to say that after all of these years this 4-cylinder "boat engine" doesn't want to die. The Volvo 240 Wagon is iconic. If you are Volvo 240 Wagon connoisseur, a 1992 Wagon may just be the prize that you are looking for.
Yeah, it drives... But most of the value rests in the parts. Feel free to bombard me with questions.
