Hello, up for sale is a very clean 1982 Volvo 242 DL. It is a Rust Free example of 80's luxury and reliability. I purchased this car from an estate close to my home. It was a one owner vehicle that was owned by a 94 year old female college professor at Lycoming College. She purchased it new from John Powell Volvo is Williamsport. It has always been serviced by a Volvo certified garage. It is in exceptional condition, has never been smoked in and the interior is in excellent as new condition. The entire body and undercarriage is rust free and the pain shines exceptionally. It was loved and cared for since new and has never been driven in rain, snow or foul weather. The beauty of this vehicle is the simplicity of the 2.1 liter 4 cylinder engine that is indestructible. It is paired with a 4 speed with electric overdrive that works amazing and quite honestly if you've never driven standard this would be the car to learn in. Again reliability is unparallel. The air conditioning works amazing for a 35 year old vehicle. The interior is spotless, under the hood is like new and I don't believe the trunk has had anything more than a few groceries placed backed there. I've reached a plateau and am forced to sell this amazing example of Swedish engineeringI have looked for years to find a Volvo example so clean.
