Decided to go drag racing so street cars are up for bid. A 1968 Camaro in a seperate auction and this 1941 Willys. I got hisHeritage fiberglass 41 Willysas a roller with plans to finish it pro street style. It now has a 383 Chevrolet 6-71 BDS blower twin Holley 750vacuum carbs. Brodix track 1 heads withEagle stroker rotating assembly. TH400transmission with a Ford 9 rearend. Disc brakes all the way around. The chassis is custom and very well done (not an S10 chassis). Coil-overs at all fourwheels. The car is set up with electric windows and door poppers that need wiring completed. Georgia doesn't require a title on a car this old. Please ask questions if you have any. I check email once a day so please be patient. I'm not interested in any trades. Either a bank transfer or cashiers check is OK. Vehicle will not be released until payment clears my bank. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
Many questions from ebayers for more detail on the car so:
The car does run and drive. It's beendriven around the block in the neighborhood. It's not titled, tagged and insured yet because it's not finished. Tilt steering column, Grant wheel.B&M Starshifter. All the electronics are behind the dash (fuse box, MSD box, etc). The headlights do work. These are the big things it needs. Glass all around, the wiring is there but no tail lights, trunk handle, interior (carpet, door panels, headliner, etc). It has power rack and pinion steering but no pump. The paint is an orange color that turns green and other colors as the angle changes. To me it would need to be repainted as you see primer on the drivers door and there are some scratches elsewhere. The chassis is powder coated 2x4 rectangle with 1 1/4 round bar for all the cross members and braces. It has a 4 link rear set up. The tires are Mickey Thompson Sportsman (front 26x8.5x15, rear 29x15.5x15). Centerline wheels.
I had the engine refreshed for this car. The block is a one piece rear main seal high nickel 0010 block. It's 30 over with forged aluminum blower pistons on Eagle H beam rods attached to an Eagle 4340 383 stroker crank. The block has 4 bolt splayed mains. It has a Comp Cams roller cam(still looking for cam specs) with Pro Magnum roller rocker arms also from Comp Cams. It has a CAT stud girdle. ARP head studs. A Mooneyham burst plate intake sits under the BDS 6-71 blower. MSD distributor and coil. Engine made about 13 lbs of boost at 4% over.
