1961 Jeep Willy's CJ-5. I recently purchased in December, but unfortunately due to business requirements, am looking to sell. Have only driven 3 miles to local mechanics and back on a dry day.Spent the last 15 years+ in Florida. Paint, frame, and undercarriage reflect this. Not a speck of rust. Show room shine on exterior. I suspect ithasn't seen rain in decades. Last picture shows very minor pitting ofundercarriage about 6" (not rust). Slightest scratch near tailgate hinge. Starts right up with working choke control, even in my Vermont winter. Does not blow any smoke. Slightest sputter when you floor it, perhaps just needs to be driven more. Upholstery and carpet like new. Solid Buick Dauntless V6 (not original but period correct, seems to be around 1967 which is what they all eventually came with), T-90 3 Speed shifts perfect. Custom dualexhaust. Has 2 fuel tanks, currently only drivers side hooked up.My mechanic went through it and here'swhat he found: Just the slightest fluid drips- transfer case, right front brake drum, coolant from pinhole on rubber hose line, fuel pump gasket. Nothing major or in need ofimminent repair. I have not noticed anything on my garage floor.Gauges, lights, horn, and wipers work. Reverse lights do not, Fuel gauge does not, blower motorintermittent but blows warm air when working. I can not say with 100% certainty that 4x4 works but all levers and hubs shift into place. Previous owner stated it did. Exact milageunknown.Being over 55 years old, I would call this in remarkable shape. If I was to keep it I would do the following minor services: Change hoses, fluids, add fender flares if keeping tires this size, change u-joints, tighten manual e-brake (hydraulic on dashbrake does work), could hook up secondary fuel tank if desired. Comes with soft top, soft doors, and bikini top. I have the clear title.Thisvehicle is 57 years old and does not have anywarranty. I have done my best to provide 100% accuracy on this description. Please ask any further questions you may have or if you would like additionalphotos. Of course, feel free to come take a look.Text is fine 802-373-6765Have to say I'm sad I won't get to go for a summer cruise in this.I will work with your shipper in any way and can store as long as needed.Immediate deposit of $500.00 via PayPal required once sold.
