Description

First year Dj3 in outstanding original condition. Jeep currently runs and idles very well. This jeep is a great candidate for a good restoration. The original 4x4 works very well. Jeep does have its cosmetic issues and some rot here and there as evident in the photos. The Fuel tank and lines will need cleaning and possible internal coating of tank (I have it running on a test tank). Motor runs very well with no signs of issues. Radiator holds and cycles coolant. Brakes will need attention.
The body is very solid. The original fiberglass top is in great shape.
Bottom line....these are becoming very scarce in this unrestored running condition. I had planned to restore this Willys but do not have the time with other projects. First year models came with 4x4 making this one extra nice.
Vehicle pickup or shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will work with your shipper to arrange pickup and loading. I can hold the jeep up to a month after full payment is made. I strongly recommend the USHIP service for shipping.
Vehicle payment required in full 7 days after auctions close. Cash, Cashiers check, Bank transfer are acceptable forms of payment.
Any questions please ask.

. In my description I stated that that "first year models came with 4x4". That information was given to me by a so-called EXPERT on DJ jeeps. I cannot confirm this with further research. I cannot find anything supporting what I was told. So as to whether this was a conversion to 4x4 by an individual or other entity I do not know. I have MB's and GPWS. This DJ is not in my realm of collecting. Some other "experts" find it pertinent to pass judgement on misinformation before simply stating correct info to me so I could confirm & correct the error. HEY.....Excuse me.
