Body
The body is in really nice shape. The paint is a beautiful period correct maroon color, very shiny. Has a few little blemishes, but they give the car is patina look. The frame is 100% solid and RUST FREE. Very straight. The convertible top is in good condition, the frame is intact, opens and closes with ease. Comes with a new vinyl convertible top boot.
The car also comes with a very rare "Horseless Carriage" (legal) Arizona license plate. This is NOT a personalized plate. I was told that there are only 18 such plates currently registered in the whole state.
Interior
The interior is in excellent shape. The gauges are in good condition. All gauges work, with the exception of the speedo. I think it is actually missing the cable. The original oil flow gauge is also in excellent working condition. The dash is very clean and shiny. Seats are in good condition, carpet and floor vinyl are in excellent shape. Horn, ignition, and headlight buttons are located on the steering wheel, all in working order.
Engine
The engine has been professionally overhauled. The water intake manifold was professionally made from a custom blue print (print comes with the car). All new radiator hoses. The brass carburetor was completely overhauled, as well as the electric starter. The magneto has been completely rebuilt and re-magnetized. The car can be started with either the hand crank or the electric starter (I use the crack because it looks good when you do it). It typically takes only two turn to get her running.
The clutch and transmissions are in excellent shape. Shifts very smooth into all gears, no grinding, no noises. Both the brakes as well as the parking break work excellent. The entire wiring harness has been professionally made and installed, using period correct cloth wiring. Still on the original 6V system.
Terms
I described the car to the best of my abilities and recollection. Please note that this is a 100 year old car, and something that are not material to me might be important to you. So please ask before buying. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I can assist with delivery in the Phoenix metro area, or help you find a reputably carrier. Because of the age of the car (and state law) it is being sold as is, where is.
