Description

If anyone's in the market for a cheap sedan-coupe project my buddy's selling a 1940 Willys Speedway Coupe steel car with a hard to find Cal Auto 1967 Produced glass nose and rear fenders all the rest is steel parts.this is his 8th coupe coversion build its not a 75k coachbuilt body but its not priced at that either folks its a great build for the money and a real 1940 with great cowl and all the car has brand new floors front to back all metal braked and all done very well.it started life as a short body sedan just like what some of the coachbuilders use.it has a new tailpan below the trunk a handbuilt trunk lid that needs finished up it has nicely built coupe doors done from a sedan and are all steel.car has all new lexan windows throughout.a complete handbuilt 2x3 square tube chasis mustang ll style front end 8.8 rear all rebuilt with new 4 linked coil over setup.

selling as a roller no engine or trans or radiator or fan all else stays with the car.front wheels slots are for mockup only and not Included,Iam adding roller wheels and tires up front tomorrow 12-17-2018.

P.S.If your an all steel person I have rear fenders I can let go for the car if the right price Is obtained.I do have a steel nose availiable at additional fees but only if you buy the car.

it has brand new wiring too.drop in your drivetrain and go an easy fix while you drive project in real steel.selling roller only has clean title too.serious inquires only.we all know that a complete mint steel coupe 1940 -1942 is 50k up as a builder and a stocker is 100k Plus.this is a great entry to mid level project that don't need much at all.i had the car sent to me to tidy things up and for my labor and selling I'am keeping the engine trans and radiator and fan all else stays as above.car is a great car for my low price.it will bring what I want or I will end the bids and cancel the sale.the car Is for sale locally and advertised In various venues so I reserve the right to sale anytime so do Inquire within thats my right since I explained It upfront.Iam not selling any other cars but a real nice 1942 rare sedan survivor car.I dont deal In parts so do not ask none of these cars are easy to find, face It folks people are pulling 30-50K in this crazy world for commonly made 1950's to early 1980's chevy trucks now compare the rarity and you'll see the numbers are simple on my ad.this is a nice conversion. If you want a 20k car you might look Into one of those lumpy 5k glass bodys then start from that.thanks
