Description

Here’s your opportunity to own a real deal surviving Warrior from the Gasser Wars. 1941 all steel Willys Coupe. a Blown 1957 Chrysler 392. Originally a back up motor for a blown alcohol Dragster. The block is .030 over with flat top forged Ansen blower pistons, Manley aluminum rods and an Engle L153 solid roller cam with Isky aluminum roller lifters. The heads are early Triple Nickel 354 ported by Lockerman porting service. The heads are from Mark Williams last front engine dragster. The car is setup for a clutch turbo transmission but currently has a Brown’s transmission built TH400 with 3000 stall converter and transnrake. Rearend is a 4.88 geared 1957 pontiac with Henry’s 35 spline axles and spool. Front axle is an early chrome plated chromoly Don Long axle with Willys spindles and Custom Wilwood brake setup. Rear wheels are real 16x11 Halibrand magnesium wheels with 12.00x16 M&H Racemasters. Front wheels are aluminum Halibrand kidney bean copies painted to resemble magnesium with 5.00x15 BFG silvertown tires. The car has just completed a complete frame off restoration with all new wiring, updated Aeromotive fuel system, and all new brakes. The car still retains its original paint and lettering from the 50’s and 60’s. The car ran a chain driven Blown Pontiac in the early 60’s which is why it has the pontiac logo on the doors. I recently acquired a 1961 Pontiac 4 bolt main 389 block that will be included in the sale. This car is the real deal and runs hard. Just like it would have in the 60’s. It is NOT a car you take on road trips! The car is currently on the cover and featured in the May 2019 issue of HOT ROD DELUXE Magazine. A true crowd pleaser wherever it goes! Currently registered and street legal. Not many of these cars come up for sale. Here’s your chance to own a very rare piece of history. I have a ton of pictures and videos of the car. Anyone who is seriously interested can call or text me. Please no tire kickers!!! (805)757-1765. I reserve the right to end the auction early due to the car being for sale locally. Thanks and good luck!
