Description

Here is an all-steel 41 Willys with a documented race history. The car was named “Best Engineered” at the 1964 NHRA Nationals. We have the original 1964 trophy, race helmet and more that will go along with this car when purchased. The car was professionally built with over 3 years and 4,000+ hours at Lo Man Rods in Tipp City, OH. There were no shortcuts taken to make this one of the nicest Willys in the country.

The body is completely painted slick inside and out as well under the fenders. The body was near perfect as were the fender well so we didn’t want to hide any part of it. The body and all the parts have been gapped and fitted to perfection. It runs 440 Chrysler Wedge similar to the Chrysler it had in 1964. It is topped off with electronic Hilborn Injection that keeps the car running cool in any temperature. The custom made stacks match the zoomie headers made by Lo Man Rods. The second set is a full-length header that connects to the exhaust hanging under the car. There is a full roll cage in the car that also allows the front end to slide off when the fenders are unbolted. The doors will pull off when the door pins are released . A custom all-aluminum interior and trunk pieces were fabricated in-house at Lo Man Rods while the seats were covered with black leather by Bob Lyons in Brookville, OH.

All of the front and rear suspension are completely chrome including the rear end, ladder bars, backing plates and more.

There are one-off parts throughout the entire car from the laser cut shift handle, headrests, column drop, bracing under the hood and front fenders to the one piece tach mounted on the dash.

The car was named Street Rodder Top 5 car of 2013, Shades of the Past Top 25, Bob Daniels award in Indy, Builder’s Choice Awards in Nashville, Kentucky, Scottsdale as well as Top 12 in Louisville for the Street Rod Nationals along with other awards.

I have tons of photos, videos and more that can be shared of the car. We also have a complete build video of the car over a three year period that was professionally made. You can also see more photos and videos of this car on our Instagram page at @opposingcylinders.

Please contact me with serious interest. Do not contact me if you do not have the money, have to talk with your wife, etc. We can assist with delivery of the car within the US for an additional cost.

All funds must be received and clear the bank before the car will be released. We can store the car up to 30 days while shipping is arranged.

We do NOT need to sell the car! We simply have other cars we are driving now and it is time to move onto the next project.

I do NOT need help selling the car. I will NOT reply to text messages. Call 937-430-0242 or email opposingcylinders@gmail.com with questions.
