Description

Selling five Jeepsters check my other auctions. 1951 Willys overland Jeepster The car has been 4000 miles since completed and everything works correctly. This car was just completed as a concourse quality frame off restoration. The interior is new including the top and top boot as well as the carpet, side curtains and storage. The gauges have been restored and calibrated. The entire car was stripped to bare metal. The frame was sandblasted and undercoated. The body has 3 coats of primer then 2 coats of base coat and 2 coats of high quality clear coat. The underside of the body is all undercoated. The engine is the original F-134 and the transmission is the original 3 speed with overdrive, and both are completely rebuilt. Nothing was compromised during this restoration, right down to every nut and bolt. It has new tires, brakes and wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake lines, shocks, battery, fuel pump, clutch, pressure plate, plugs and wires, main bearings, re-built crank, rod bearings, pistons, rings, cam, valves, guides, valve seats, gaskets and seals. It runs great. The chrome is show quality and complete. The steering wheel is restored to original. All of the glass is new. The wiring is completely new and color coded to factory specs. This Jeepster is identical in every way to the Jeepster that just sold yesterday (4/8/2016) at Barrett Jacksons Palm beach sale for a world record $55,000.00. I restored the one that just sold in 2013 You can check the auction results at Barrett Jackson.
