Rare "NEKAF" M38-A1 Military Jeep 1960

1960 M38-A1 NEKAF
clear title (PA) starts, runs and drives. Has been stored in a barn in Pennsylvania and has recently been moved outdoors and is tarped. Nothing has been done to this vehicle. No partial or attempted restoration has been done. Side panels are rusty, the rest of the body otherwise in good condition. 24 volt system, setup for fording. It has a military radio of unknown condition, mike, & mounted antenna, original top frame and windowed canvas top with all straps intact, rear mounted jerry can military tires and spare. Floors, seats with original padding and rear deck in good condition. "Black out" lights are mounted front and rear. The Dutch Army brass radiator, auxiliary power outlets inside and out, the ‘guarded’ side mounted marker lights and all “Koninklijke Landmacht” modifications are intact. Included with the jeep is an extra voltage regulator plus a 24 volt generator. Two "rank" flag holders are part of the front bumper. Also included: a "period" US Army medical department stretcher. The original shovel is mounted beneath the hood. a fording (submerged engine) hose is included. With the Jeep comes two good inline batteries for the 24 volt system and a trickle charger. The M38A1 Jeep eventually served with one of the longest service records in the Royal Dutch military. A "Nekaf" is a rare bird. This is history on wheels.
