Description

Great barn find! This willys spent over 40 years in a barn covered under a tarp. Same family all these years. The man I bought it from is in his eighties and he inherited it from his father the original owner who passed in the late sixties. The grandson of the original owner got it running again so his father could sell it. He replaced the fuel tank, gaslines and carb, tuned it up totally cleaned the under side and painted it. The finish is all original and RUSTFREE!. Glass is all perfect as well.I put tires on it so I could drive to the post office a couple miles away. The headliner needs replaced but the interior is in amazing shape! No rips or tears the wood slats are very good also. The spare is missing. All the gauges and lights, horn all work. The patina could be preserved or it could be totally restored, your choice. The pictures speak for themselves. I have the title and original owners manuals. This is truly a very rare vehicle considering it's amazing condition! I bought three years ago with the intention of restoring to new condition. However things change and I have other priorities now. I have restored many jeeps over the years mainly cj2a's. I also have two cj2a's totally rebuilt to like new condition if you know someone looking. You won't be disappointed....I will answer all questions best I can. John,740-973-4011I am getting many questions now which I would like to address. This vehicle is unmolested!! No Bondo,No bodywork, No accidents!! ACTUAL MILES, It starts right up,no issues. Guys It doesn't get any better than this. If you are truly looking for a strong candidate to restore or drive as is THIS IS IT!! I doubt very much you could find another in this ORIGINAL CONDITION!!! Look at the interior, the glass, the straight body, the chrome, undercarriage, it is all there 100%. I spent my life in the car business and had a very reputable business in Columbus doing what I loved, restoring cars. The reason I am selling Is I am now almost 70 and can't do what I used to be able to do. I am trying to finish my last cj2a rebuild for the last 3 years. My wife and I like to travel before we leave this earth. Between that and health issues I have little time to spend on myfinal project. By the way I have two 1947 cj2a's totally restored which I would be glad to show the level of quality workthat I do. I totally planned on restoring this willys wagon but I have enjoyed just having it very much. Things change and I need to let someone who can appreciate what it takes to bring a vehicle like this to it's potential. Thanks for the calls and questions. John
