Odometer issue was due to the odometer/trip stopping a few years back. I replace the instrument cluster with the instrument cluster from the 164S I removed the rebuilt engine and transmission from in order to match it (VIN's match both engine and trans). Although the vehicle itself has around 159K on it, the engine was rebuilt and as you can see everything else was too. Both engine, transmission and cluster from same vehicle so in fact the mileage is correct for new engine/trans. The DMV made some strange mistake with title which until I had no idea about and really don't plan to look into it. I never lived in SF and I am not sure what that discrepancy is. I bought the car from Prestige Imports in Miami from the first owner and have owned it ever since. But rest assured, this car is a dream and the mileage is correct for motor/transmission. Everything has been replaced. This is a top notch 164!!
Just ask what has not been done because the list will be shorter!!! Nothing was left undone. I replaced all I could replace including most nuts, bolts and washers with new or semi-new OEM replacements. Due to age there are minor blemishes but otherwise in spectacular shape. You won't find a 164 like this anywhere!!
