NO RESERVE - 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce
Description
1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce - NO RESERVE
My 1986 Spider Veloce is an excellent driver quality car. The previous owner had the car for 10 years and I have kept all of the maintenance records since 2009. The PO purchased the car from his friend Mark Reinwald. Mark currentlycurates Ralph Lauren's car collection in NY. The car has been very reliable and it's a blast to drive. I have taken the car on multiple road trips recentlyand haven't had any issues. The car has beenmeticulously maintained with OEM parts by a localindependentshop. The car does have a rebuilt title which itreceived in 1995. Inaddition, the gauge cluster was replaced at 110,397 miles with a used gauge cluster (currently showing 50,581 miles) due to a malfunction with the original odometer gears.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or ifyou would like me to include additional photos.
All the electronics work including: wiper motor, heater fan, blinkers, windows, headlights, horn, brake lights, marker lights, clock. The Alfa included A/C from the factory however the compressor was removed before my ownership. The previous owner installed a sturdy guard to protect the oil pan. The car drives straight, the steering is tight and suspension is solid without anysqueaks or rattles. The transmission shifts are verysmooth and direct. The car gets about 28 mpg and cruises very easily on the highway.
The interior is in good condition with a few minor signs of wear due to age on the dash and ash tray. The seats were reupholstered a few years ago and they are very soft and comfortablewith zero signs of wear.
I purchased the car with the radio head unit removed. The wiring and speakers are still installed and wouldn't require much work to install a new head unit.
This car has always been garage kept. The car has been owned in TX, CA, or NM and it is very clean with zero rust on the body or undercarriage other than superficial surface rust on bare metal. The convertible top is in goodshapeand the plastic is clear and free of holes. The paint looks nice but has minor blemishes and dings as you’d expect. (see photos) I am also including aset of fouroriginal Alfa Romeo wheels and tires.
I would love to keep the car, however I'm trying to downsize my collection. I can email the Carfax report to interested buyers.Prefer to have car paid for and picked up in person.Shipping must be arranged by buyer but I can assist with shipping process.
