Description

as you can see from the pictures this vehicle had some minor collision damage. it was brought to my body shop about 5 -6 years ago and left abandoned. good thing about buying a car that was in an accident is that you know it was running and driving! I do have a clear missouri title, it is NOT a salvage or prior salvage or any other type of title, it is a CLEAN clear title. We managed to find a good used fender and a replacement grill, the grill we got is not exactly the same as the original so i assume it is a different model, and we could not find the fender trim piece next to the left headlight, but i wasnt looking real hard either as i figured who ever bought the car would probably restore it anyhow. We only replaced these parts and painted the fender as i wanted to leave the car as " unmolested " as possible. it is amazing how much of this car is all original and what great shape it is in, it even still has the original tire changing instructions that used to be glued to the deck lid! i did consider painting it and replacing the top but again, i loved how original everything is and thought someone else would too. other than the work we did, the body has a couple dents and dings that you'd expect a 40 yr old car to have and it has a little rust on the qtr panels but over all the body is in excellent condition.
as far as motor and drive train, we drained the old gas and i had a mechanic shop do a tune up and oil change. if its been driven recently it will fire right up but if it hasn't been driven for a week or so then you have to crank it a little and get the gas pumped back up to the carb. one or maybe two of the cylinders is oil fouling the plugs, not so bad it doesn't run but enough you can feel a slight miss. i don't know if its a valve seal or rings and ive never noticed smoke from the exhaust. the transmission and brakes seem good, i have not checked them out only know from driving it, and ive probably put about 25- 30 miles on it. other than that im not sure what else to say that you cant see in the pictures but please feel free to message me if you have any questions
