Austin Healey 100-6 BN4 Roadster
Description
This car is titled as a 1958, but is a very early body #730 100-6 BN4 Longbridge built car, most likely built in late 1957. Original 2 port head engine may have been replaced with a later more powerful 6 port head and engine, factory painted in olive green. I had the engine running before I pulled it from the car. Car is fitted with original 48 spoke wire wheels (which need work) and has F&R drum brakes. I installed a new gas tank and Bell Stainless Steel exhaust that was fitted only for startup of engine. Wire harness appears to be complete and in good condition, having been recently replaced. There is also a grille which needs clean up or re-chrome. All lights are present. Both horns are present. Bumper bars are present but missing two over riders at rear. Original lower profile Longbridge style soft top is present. Hood bow also present, but sliders are missing (parts available from AH Spares). Good pair of side screens are included. Original steering wheel (in need of repairs) and trafficator present, new wiring for stator tube is included in parts.
I have purchased most of the new parts need to get the car on the road, including reconditioned radiator, new seat bases, original style air filters, new radiator pipes, new 5 blade fan, new water pump, new fuel line, new gas tank, new SS Bell exhaust, new brake wheel cylinders front and rear, new clutch Master, new Brake Master, new heater control assembly, new dash knobs, new panels - main floors, front outriggers, rockers, rear B pillar dogleg panels, rear trunk floor, new front wheel deflector panels, new heat shield kit and many smaller bit and pieces still in bags.
I have an clean Oregon title in my name. Speedometer reads 05691 which is likely not correct mileage. Car and all new parts listed above are included in the auction.
