1960 Austin Healey 3000 BT7 *No Reserve*
Description
1960 Austin Healey BT7 "Nasty Boy"This classic has been up on blocks in a garage since 2003. Car had been prepared for storage, gas drained etc..Sometime over its lifetime someone has replaced its 6 cylinder with a late 60's corvette 327 with a matching GM close ratio 4 speed mated to the OEM differential.I purchased it (from an older gentleman) to get it back on the road. Changed oil, filter, antifreeze, plugs and wires. Went through the Rochester 2 barrel carb, changed the points and condenser, made sure gas tank was clean, installed new battery and it fired right up!The car runs and drives correctly, but the brakes are slushy, did not flush or bleed brakes. The actual mileage is unknown as I changed out the speedo with one that matched up with the drive cable from the GM transmission. The paint and body are not perfect (some cracks and chips) but good 20 footer. No top!Temp, speedo, amp and oil pressure gauges work, tach and gas gauge are not hooked up. Headlights, turn signals and brake/tail lights work.Tires all need replaced.Rear view mirror is NOT cracked or broken!Clean title in my name!
