Just finished a comprehensive reconditioning……no restoration was necessary.

Excellent has excellent compression, perfect oil pressure, no smoke cold or hot, SU carbs in excellent condition and tuned, balanced. Transmission also works very well and overdrive clicks ‘in’ and ‘out’ properly.

Exterior stripped, repainted in original Healey blue, engine bay detailed, trunk painted and fitted with new Hadura matting, underside cleaned, sanded, painted floors and chassis. Beautiful.

Mostly new chrome and trim, interior is all original (other than carpets and door tops) and comes close to being ‘as new.’ Wood dash has some mild cracking but is incredibly well preserved.

Top is excellent and fitted with a new plastic rear window. Same with boot covering and tonneau. Has a new Sony stereo/CD with USB input, new fuel pump, and radiator cleaned and pressure checked.

Underneath: new front and rear springs, brakes completely rebuilt, new rotors, new chrome wire wheels, new radials, excellent original wiring harness, all working original gauges, even a new fuel tank and sender (due to age decade of originals).

Fitted with a modern electronic ignition for reliability….runs and drives like new. NOT a 100 point, body off restoration for a zillion dollars but a beautiful, clean, well maintained original car that just received an enormous amount of work and is ready to drive anywhere.

Ready for show, ‘round town, or long, comfortable highway driving at any practical speed. As for the rest….the photos tell the story.
