This 1965 Austin-Healey Sprite Mk III was acquired out of New Hampshire in 2013 and subsequently underwent a mechanical refurbishment including new suspension and braking parts, tube shock and spin-on oil filter conversions, replacement cooling parts, and more. Power is from a 1,098cc inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission in place of the factory four-speed, and the car is finished in green over black. This Sprite is offered with a Haynes manual, a soft top, and a clean California title. The 1,098cc A-Series inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a Ford T9 five-speed manual gearbox installed with a kit from Moss Motors. A resurfaced flywheel and new ring gear were fitted and the clutch was adjusted in the last six months. A Mini Spares intake manifold with a single SU carburetor takes the place of the factory dual carburetor setup, and a fuel pressure regulator has been added. The following new items were also included in the refurbishment: Starter and electronic ignition Radiator, six-blade plastic fan, and heater valve Pulley damper Fuel pump Rear oil seal conversion kit Spin-on oil filter adapter The suspension was rebuilt with new bushings, and a tube shock conversion kit was installed at the front.
