Description

We have owned this car for over 16 years. Reliable, mechanically sound, good looking example of a late Big Healey. Very original in appearance with no visual evidence of rust. It has not let us down in all the time we have enjoyed local and regional rides The interior is original in what I would describe as fairly good shape. The driver’s side seat cushion needs stitching as evidenced in the photo. The original rear seating area back rest needs attention although we removed it to increase luggage space.

Car can be seen by appointment in Central NH, we are 30 minutes from MHT airport, 60 minutes from Boston.

• New Bumpers front and rear with overriders

• Badge bar with badges

• Driving lights

• New Rugs front and rear

• New Austin Healey rubber mats

• New Gas tank

• New front Rubber brake lines

• New Rear Leaf Springs

Top is in good condition— stitching needed about three inches along window zipper seam.

This car has been used very little since we have owned and always stored in a heated garage.

Mechanically and electrically, I can’t think of anything that is in need of repair. Car has 89,000 miles on the odometer. Very reliably starts easily, all gauges and switches operate as they should, runs very smoothly and strong. All cylinders have close combustion ratings. The clutch and brakes are in good condition. Power brake servo removed but included for rebuild if you prefer a softer pedal. Brakes are firm and solid as is.

The driver’s side window needs to be replaced. New glass and working mechanism included.

UPDATE, PLEASE NOTE: 4 new photos have just been added to show the under carriage of car. You can see this car was undercoated early on and is no doubt why this car is so rust-free. I see no signs of prior rust or any frame repairs ever having taken place. This is a very solid car. Vinyl panel on drivers door has been removed to allow for replacement of side window. A new window is included. In response to a question, yes- all gauges and electrical components are in working condition.
