Road worthy Sprite, partially Restored to a dependable road condition over the last two years
This car came from California and was in my basement for the last 18 years and in my family for the last 30years
Engine was overhauled some time back but never driven much, engine overhaul mileage is unknown
Oil Pressure runs 30lb at 900rpm at 180 degrees and 40lb+ at freeway speed about 55MPH
Transmission just overhauled, main bearings, caged needles, all synchronizers and gaskets and rear seal
The following is a list of the parts replaced, (NEW)
Thermostat controlled electric radiator fan this is an upgrade to help in hot weather Radiator new but has a oops repair, All water hoses replaced, heater valve at eng replaced, Battery, starter, tiers, control arm bushings, two rear leaf springs, all rear axle support are bushings, duel brake master cylinder, front brake houses, all wheel cylinders and brake shoes, choke cable, brake and clutch pedal pads, clutch slave cylinder, fuel tank inlet hose, both windshield gaskets, fender mirror, front and rear badges, floor mats. Carburetors are rebuilt and fresh paint on the body, distributor replaced, cylinder head rebuilt new valve guides valves and springs.
Chrome is pitted with its age, the carburetor choke jets stick when they feel like it, they are new and still fitting in, side windows and one piece soft top bow not restored, there is no canvas with this car, and padded roll bar was added about 20 years ago. Car has some Bondo in places for dents and car will show some dent areas, left door pillar had a rust out place on the outside, this restore was at my house, paint is not professional. Floor boards are solid. car was red originally my brother painted yellow I removed almost all of it before paint. Car is sold as is.
