1959 Austin Healey Sprite Base 0.9L
Description
This is a really nice 1959 Sprite project car. It is completely disassembled but there are many extra parts. For example 2 top frames, accessory hardtop, side curtains, hubcaps, 4 engine blocks, and several transmissions. There are many nos parts included including pistons, suspension parts [see pics]. There are many parts [new and used] in boxes that are not pictured. I have not found the original steering wheel but most other parts are there. There will probably be some parts missing, but you will have many duplicate parts to sell or trade for them. This car would be excellent for someone wanting to do a complete restoration as the body is very good. Doors are included but not pictured. Paint is fair and should probably be redone, but the buyer may decide how nice he wants the car to be. Vin tag is a repro [it has some water on it in the pics but is in perfect cond]. I have a Certified copy of The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust build sheet for this car [see pics]. This is what we call an MSO in the US and came from the factory archives. It was originally delivered to Fort Worth Texas in August of 1959. Also the original VIN was hand written in crayon on the back of the dash. Clear California title on Non-op. Low reserve for a straight, solid Sprite project. Will need a transporter willing to carry some boxes, as all of the parts will not fit inside the Sprite. Body is is on a dolly now and that is included in the sale [this should be considered when deciding how to ship]. A tilt trailer will load it easily. Relisted due to non-paying bidder.
