Description
1982 BMW E24 633 CSI
This is a gorgeous and clean Pennsylvania car that has been garage kept its entire life. I am the 3rd owner. It drives beautifully, no pulling or vibration at high speed, arrow straight. Engine pulls hard and the clutch has positive engagement with a smooth shifting transmission.I have taken the car on long trips - it is fun and absolutely reliable. No leaks, always starts. Odometer has become intermittent in the past year, stopping at 87K miles. I tried to remedy this with a refurbished 140 MPH unit with 81K miles listed but that did not solve the issue. I don't use the car that much but I'd estimate the car has around 92-94K miles to be safe.. and the service records should back that up along with the condition of the car.The car presents very well but the paint is not perfect, overall the car is a clean driver that you could use everyday. The interior is "Like New" aside from the carpets being a bit faded. No cracks on seats or dash .. with only minimal fading on driver sear bolster. The car was previously owned by a leather restorer .. so he knew how to keep the leather in great shape! There is a rust spot on the passenger rear wheel well that you will need to tend to as well as a dent in the same area from misusing the jack (shown in pictures)AC is cold - new compressor and recharge. Heat works as it should. All windows work and sunroof. Front speakers are new. The car has been Euro modded, giving it the look of an early 635CSI that we never got in the U.S. This includes flush euro turn signals, a trunk lid spoiler and a restored OEM front spoiler and bumper that I purchased in Germany. In addition to historic service records going back to 1986 - Here is a list of recent work I've done to the car to bring it up to date:New Toyo Tires.
