1990 BMW 750il

Bad news first: What we have here is a case of not knowing when to put the wrench down. Previous owner started making an autocross racer out of this vehicle. Interior has been removed as well as some trim pieces. Original hood has been removed and replaced with what may be a 3 series hood? I'm not sure. Aftermarket intake and exhaust.
Now, the good news: Body is VERY solid NC car with no rust that I have found. V12 runs flawlessly with excellent power. Trans seems to shift well and steering, suspension, and brakes all seem to work well. Previous owner said this is a German spec M70 with a tune of some sort. I'm not much of a BMW person so I cannot verify this.
Car is sitting on 18" M5 wheels and tires have decent tread all around.
This would be an excellent candidate to autocross or drag race for reasonable money OR great body/drivetrain parts car for 7 series restoration or unique street rod. I was going to part out but I think it's still too nice to do so.
Located in SW Pennsylvania with clear NC title. Being sold as is/where is with no warranty implied. I would consider delivering for additional fee.
