An exterior refurbishment was performed in 2006, including the repaint in Fjord Blue from the original Polaris Silver. The paint is very nice driver quality plus, and blemishes from use include rock chips and scratches and small dimple on the lower chin. During the repaint, the car was found to have some filler in the rear panel which was subsequentlyremoved and repainted. The braking system was updated with new parts at the same time and now utilizes Girling front calipers with double vented rotors alongside larger 320i rear drums. Braided steel lines and a tii master cylinder were also added.

The passenger door sits roughly 1/4″ low due to an adjustment made in 2006. Additionally, thesuspension was upgraded with H&R springs and Bilstein shocks. 14″ bottlecap wheels are mounted with Bridgestone tires.
During the 2006 update, the interior hadDynamat installed on the floor, doors, and rear body panels. Dynamat acoustic foam was also fitted under the new German wool hook and loop carpet. The upholstery on the driver’s seat shows some looseness, and the the front seats are not fully operational. The rear seat is reportedly original and in good condition. An OEM headliner was installed in 2006 and has some discoloration present. The trim under the passenger’s window is damaged.
The dash has some cracking present between the gauge cluster and the windshield. The heater box was rebuilt by 2002 Haus, and work included replacement of all seals, the heat exchanger, and installing a new OEM Bosch heater fan.Factory 1974-76 style windshield wiper arms were installed in 2015 along with a new windshield washer pump, new hoses, and new nozzles. The windshield wiper assembly was rebuilt with OEM parts.

Additionally, a tii mechanical advance distributor was fitted with the correct Bosch black coil and ceramic resistor. Bosch spark plug wires have been installed alongside a Pertronix Electronic ignition unit, with timing set to 31 degrees at 2700 rpm. The engine breathes through aStahl long tube header mated to an Ireland Engineering stainless exhaust system. The fuel tank was replaced in 2009 and a larger BMW Bavaria fuel pump was added.

My standard disclaimer/mantra for any car regardless of service or price: The car is sold with no warranty. You are buying a used car. Eventually every car will break, if you find one that doesn't please let me know. I do my ABSOLUTE BEST to describe accurately the shape of the truck, but keep in mind it is impossible to discuss every detail of a car for better or worse. I am not a dealer, just a guy who loves BMW (among other cars) and hope to pass along my passion and fervor for these cars. That said if ever you encounter an issue I do my best to provide advice, direction or even parts if I have them. Please understand that it is a used car and will have minor signs of use despite its service and restoration. That means please do not expect a showroom brand new car. Please adjust your expectation level to that of a car that however is very good condition. This is a nice BMW of this year, but please just remember that no car is perfect. It is though a clean, very nice BMW! Please only bid if you intend to buy. If you would like to have an Ebay 3rd party mechanic service check out the car I MORE than welcome it. Please have the car checked out before bidding and not after, if you intend to use that service. And please, if you would like to utilize this service, contact me with more than a couple days left in the auction so we can arrange schedules. Please check your local laws and registration procedures before buying. Buying over the internet can be scary sometimes! I get it, because I am an enthusiast too!! For that very reason, I am more than happy to answer every and any question you may so you know 100% what you are buying. But, please ask any and all questions ahead of purchase! It is impossible to list every pro and con of a car, I am not an inspection service, it is your responsibility as a buyer to do your due diligence and inspect the car. All sales are final, you are buying as-is, the sky is blue, etc, etc. Sorry to have to give the boring speech!
