1974 BMW CS Coupe/E9
Description
Lots of books, literature, wiring diagrams, etc., etc. The car was originally an automatic and converted with a 5 speed from a 528i. Dual Weber DGAV carbs need to be set for both chokes and synchronization.
It was my daily driver until 2012, and my wife won't let my kids ride in it because of the age of the car, so it's been collecting dust in the corner of my garage and later my shop.
It is originally a California car with CA "emission controls". You can choose to remove that stuff, I left it because of the history of the car. Car spent from '74 until 2001 in CA, now in Dallas, TX. No rust except for surface rust under paint in a couple of spots. Last repainted in 2005. Garage kept in both CA and TX.
A/C has a new compressor and condenser, need a dryer, needs PAG oil added and charged before turning it on.
Make offer. It will ONLY go to a good home. I had it brought out to me on a transport. I'd be happy to put it back onto a transport and send it to you. You pay the transport company.
Mileage is unknown as odometer only has 5 digits. I surmise it has flipped at least once. I put 200,000 because Ebay requires me to put a number in there.
Last engine work was in CA in the late 90's and it had a valve job from one of the shops in LA area.
