Hello E30 Enthusiasts,
Up for sale is my 1988 325is 2.5L engine, one of the most desirable e30s, zinnoberrot with black leather interior.
This is a good example of a very clean unmolested E30, in a pretty amazing condition over all for a 30 year old car, a very solid, Rust Free California car, with a Crack Free Dash, and original leather seats that have plenty of life left in them. A true survivor, fortunate enough to be taken care of throughout its lifeby the 2 previous owners, who managed to even pass it on with a nice size binder going back as early as 1993.
Must see all photos and videos below to appreciate.
I have posted over 50 pictures to cover as many angles on this car as anyone can see, and 5 Videos to show how it runs plus a walk around.
During my ownership I spent over $13k in restoration which includes the following:
New OEM "is" Lip, Sunroof Seal, Emblems, Grommets, Clips, Fuel Filler Neck Rubber Seal.
Complete Timing Belt Service (new water pump, etc)
All New Drive Belts
Cooling System Service
New Radiator, A/C Condenser, Drier, Hoses
New Valve Cover Gasket, and Vacuum Hoses
New Spark Plugs, Wires, Distributor, Rotor
New Battery and Oil Change with Castrol GTX 20-50(few months ago)
New Steering Wheel OEM Badge
New Air Intake Boot
New Windshield Wipers
New Hood Shock
New OEM Oil Level Sender
New Oil Filter Housing Seal
New Fuel Filter
New Engine Mounts
New Rear Sway Bar Links
Rebuilt Steering Rack
New Tie Rods
All 4 New Rotors, Brake Pads, Sensors
4 wheel alignment on very clean BBS Basketweave Rims with fairly new tires.
I also had the Suspension done last spring and upgraded with 4New Bilstein B4 Shocks (very smooth driving experience)
4 New Shock Mounts
New Front Sway Bar Bushings
New Control Arm Bushings
New Catalytic Convertor
New Muffler
Car passed the California Smog Test with no issues.
All Power, from Antenna, All Locks, Windows, Mirrors, to All Interior/Exterior Lights, Map Lights, OEM Radio, OBC, Odometer, work, as well as the Heater, A/C (ice cold serviced and converted to R134)
Low Beams were upgraded to HID since I don't see very well at night, but could swap back to OEM bulbs (Buyer's discretion).
Probably forgetting some things, but all service records will be in the binder.
Most of the services were done at Garage54 in Glendale CA.
Only issues with the car that I haven't addressed yet since they didn't really bother me were:
Power sunroof struggles a bit when closing (could be because of the new seal, not sure)
The "Brake Lining" Light is still on, even after they replaced the brake sensors (haven't figured out how to reset it).
