Electra 225 Convertible
Description
You are looking at an Electra 225 convertible that's in original driver quality condition and may very well be a survivor, this car has very straight panels that are all lining up well with near perfect gaps. Considering this car is 58 years old with what looks like original paint and very good clean trim, it's looking very good with very minimal rust which gives you a solid start for a restoration if that's what you choose to do. The top is in very good condition that needs a window, it goes up and down very well. All the features are on the car that it was built with but, there hasn't been a thorough inspection to check all components to see if they are all working. As you know these cars are very hard to come by, with it's delta fins and long sweeping lines it is a site to see on the road and is a head turner where ever you may go. The car is powered by a 401 Wild Cat attached to a 2 speed Dynaflow transmission, both are working well, the engine is running a little rough with no taps or raps so, a tune up and a check up of the engine is definitely a must. The car needs brakes and exhaust. This is a very solid and complete start to a project that will end up an amazing car when finished.
