Description

1972 Buick GS455 big block. Real deal GS455; vin decode verified. The engine has been rebuilt and modified to Buick GS Stage 1 specifications. The TH400 transmission has been rebuilt as well. 10 bolt Posi-Traction rear end has been rebuilt with 3.42 ratio gears. Upgrades also include long tube headers with 2 1/2’’ exhaust to the rear, and EBC cross drilled and slotted rotors with green stuff pads (brakes only have about 150 miles on them). At the same time the brakes were done the wheel bearings and seals were replaced with Timken parts as well. This car features a factory Ram-Air hood with matching air cleaner, F41 suspension with upgraded front and rear sway bars and control arms, full factory gauge pack with WORKING tachometer, all the lights, horn, and gauges are in working order. Buick has Burnished copper paint (matches fisher body code) with cream vinyl roof, and dark saddle interior with bench seat. Car has column shift, tilt steering wheel, am/fm radio, factory AC (95% complete was working prior to removal of one hose), power brakes, power steering, and the RARE N25 through bumper exhaust option with bumper guards. Vin decodes as California built car, and the GS is 1 of less than 1200 built for 1972! The car was painted and mechanically restored about 10 years ago. At that time ALL the trim, rubber, weather stripping, etc was removed prior to paint. It has been garage kept since then and still shows well for the age of the restoration, but does have some rock chips and signs of wear that you would expect for a 10 year old restoration. The floors and trunk pan are SOLID. Small area (approximately 1in by half inch) paint bubbling near rear wheel well, and a dime size area of paint bubble by rear window/vinyl top on the right hand side. I have a clear Florida title in my name in hand. Full CLEARED payment due before vehicle will be released to new owner. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I am flexible with pick up hours and location if need be.
