History of the 1970 Buick GS455:
The 1970 GS455 model is arguably the most popular year for Grand Sport enthusiasts being that it was the first year true big block performance offered by Buick. With that Buick offered some of their most aggressive body designs to better compete in the muscle car arena! This meant a potent 455ci V8 engine that featured a Stage I performance engine upgrade, along with the ever famous GSX appearance package. By doing so Buick proved that the GS455 wasn't your grandad's luxury vehicle any longer, but rather a competitive muscle car that would produce more torque than anything else GM had to offer! The 1970 Buick GS455 was a dominating tire shredder that the public was waiting for!
