Here is a very nice 1940 Buick Sedan Custom. This Buick has been updated with the complete drivetrain from a 1966 Buick Riviera. It has the 425 ci. engine that runs and drives great. It fires right up and is a pleasure to drive. It has a great sound through its dual exhaust. It is mated to a Turbo 400 transmission and stock Riviera rear axle. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes and AC. It has custom steel wheels that were made special for the car so it could use stock 1940 Buick hubcaps and trim rings. The exterior paint has faded and it could use a repaint, although I think it looks great with the existing patina. The body is very straight and rust free. The chrome and stainless were all restored and look like new. The interior was redone in the original style and is in excellent condition. Overall this Buick is the best of the 40s and 60s. It has the older look with drivability of a cruiser. It really draws attention at the local car shows and cruises. This Buick is located in sunny Mesa, Arizona.
