For sale I have a 1958 Buick Limited that’s been in storage most of its life. Back in the 1960s my uncle bought this car along with four others just like it. He drove it for awhile and then parked it in 1968 in a large garage near Fresno, California. The car sat there until 1989 when he gave the car to me. I put the car in my garage and did a very stupid thing, I took everything apart. My intention was to restore the car, but I didn’t have the knowledge or money to do it.
The car sat in my garage for 25 years collecting dust. About six months ago I moved the car outside. I have finally realized that I’m never going to finish the car so I’m selling it to someone else that will.
I have completed some work on the car, but not much other than taking it apart. I did rebuild the engine back in 1990 and I rebuilt the front suspension. You can see in the photos the engine is new, but its been sitting on the engine stand for 26 years. It’s completely rebuilt, but it’s never been started.
THE GOOD: The body of this car is very straight with NO RUST. You may find some surface rust here and there, but the metal is solid. The chrome bumpers will have to be rechromed, but if you look at the photos you will see NO RUST in the bumper ends or anywhere. The car came with factory air conditioning and the parts are all there.
This car can be restored or used for parts. I would say I have about 95% of the parts so the car is mostly complete. I have a California title that was issued in 2014.
I would like to receive a $500 deposit within 48 hours after the end of the auction. I will then give you up to five weeks to arrange transportation for the car.
