Description

From a collector thinning out his inventory comes a very nice 1964 Series 62 Cadillac. It is the seventh and last generation of the Series 62 (the 1963 version would be renamed the Cadillac Calais) and had a bigger, more powerful V-8 engine than previous models. Also new was "Comfort Control", a dial thermostat for heating and air-conditioning that was an industry "first". Also available for the first time for this car were Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights. Not new but further refined were the Cadillac fins, the 17th consecutive year for this Cadillac design element.
This car was bought from the original owners out of a barn in Western Maryland in 2013 . At that time, the car received some needed work to make it road worthy . Also, the new owners had some upholstery work done and managed to find a shop that had exact replacement material for the seats . The car now, is quite presentable with only two areas where the paint needs attention in the back near the trunk lid. We were told that a paint job was put on it in the late 70`s. This is holding up quite well and shines up nicely considering its age. This car has no serious rust anywhere as it was garaged most of its life.Current owners are motivated sellers.
