1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible Runs Nice Many New Parts
Description
1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible just out of 19 years of storage. The car has an an amatuer body restoration at some time in the past and is showing it's age. It was an amateur restoration and the quarter panels have filler that is cracking and new rust forming. When the car was pulled out of storage it was gone through and the following parts were replaced: Radiator, Alternator, Starter, Rebuilt Convertible Top Motor, Tune Up, all new brake lines and New Tires all the way around. The car appears to have very solid floors, trunk and frame.
All the lights work on the car including the fender mounted turn signals, dash lights, interior lights and even the trunk light. All gauges including the clock work except the temperature gauge and radio. The fan works for the heater and AC but the climate control does not.
The interior is in good condition for its age except the drivers seat that has a tear and is worn.
The top is in fair condition and does have the original glass window and a matching boot cover.
The car is missing one hubcap which came off recently.
This is a good running and driving car that needs some restoration in the future. The suspension needs some updating and the brakes pull slightly to the left when stopping but this is getting less and less the more miles I put on it.
I'm sure I have missed something and I have many more pictures available so please ask questions.
