A true barn find ( or I should say carport find) perfect candidate for restoration. The stuff myths and legends are made of., an actual one owner super low original mile documented car (documents are included) Has original purchase receipt and all repairs tickets done to the car since new. car was found at the original owners house after his passing and has not been driven since 2005 with 42011 miles last registration to the original owner in 2004 and had an inspection sticker from 2005. Since I purchased it I have put a new gas tank, fuel pump, fuel sending unit, new tires and engine flush and oil change. Car was found in Shreveport LA and I just finished a 900 mile trip back to El Paso Texas and car drove well at 75 mph all the way back. car does have issues from sitting over 12 years and light surface rust from Louisiana humidity and lack of care since 2005, car does have dirt debris light surface rust in engine compartment and under car and little critters did a number on the under hood mat . Car will need light restoration to be a beautiful car again. So far what I know the car needs is a complete tune up and or carb repair, car idles high, cruise control does not work, ac blows but not cold(might just need Freon) window switch knob for driver side broke but all window function, heater core was leaking and was bypassed for the trip, windshield wipers do not work but you can hear the motor turn on, The ride was a true pleasure (other than the ac and cruise control not working). and the car was hit in driver fender at the shop that put the gas tank in, and I was so heart broken because its original paint was so nice. and the top is near flawless. the interior is beautiful with a minor rip in driver side arm rest but headliner, carpet,door panels and dash are in awesome shape. missing one hubcap but have ordered a set of 4 which are included. The Cadillac is being offered for sale before I start the restoration to give a true enthusiast a chance to own and restore this unique car that has turned heads and so many gas station conversations since bring it back home. I will continue to drive the car daily as I am having so much fun and really enjoy talking to people that either had one or wanted one back in the 80's
