1953 Chevrolet 3100 5 window
Description
I have a super cool super solid 53 5 window 3100. I honestly hear nothing but compliments and get thumbs up everywhere. Truck runs drives and rides perfect. I've made trips to northern Ohio, Tn, WV, and Indiana in this truck and would trust it to go anywhere. No leaks smokes ticks noises or anything. Truck is super solid with not even a bubble. Floors can corners frame everything is solid. Had the truck painted a couple of years ago and decided I didn't like the look of it so sanded it down and clear coated. My opinion the look is perfect. If u don't like it body is solid and could be painted without the extra cost of rust repair.Motor is a 350 that's bored .30 over. Has aluminum intake, 4 brl carb, long tube headers, a small cam, and head work. Has good power but by no means a race truck. Excellent cruiser though. Trans is a 700R4 overdrive tranny that shifts great no leaks and fluid is nice and red still. Rear end is a 10bolt from a blazer with 373 gears. Has rear disc brakes is reason for that swap. Has Hotchkins front springs, front and rear sway bars so handles great also. Has power disc front breaks and power steering. So easy to drive. Has new grill, tailgate, grill, and both front and rear bumpers. Wiring was all new and installed 2yrs ago with a painless wiring kit. All lights and all gauges work as do the wipers. Has power heated leather bucket seats and a nice lokar shifter. Nice Classic gauges just installed that look great also. This truck no joking around capable of 100+mph on interstate. It not only runs with traffic but holds the left lane and passes traffic. Windows go up and down with ease and doors shut great. Has 3in rally's on the front and 10s on the back. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head but can say this truck is well worth money asked!
